Help with Sex and/or Porn Addiction in Manchester.

With the access to internet porn these days, sex and porn addiction is hitting epidemic levels.  The trouble for men who are suffering with it, is that the guilt and shame often prevents them from seeking treatment. 

I have treated and written about sex and porn addiction for years now, and have a good sense of what causes it, and how best to get out of it.  One of the common factors I find is that men develop the addiction in a relatively tame area of sexual activity, but the problem grows into increasingly risky and/or extreme areas of sexuality.  I have work with men whose sex addiction has taken them into all areas of extreme and/or illegal internet porn, and whose real world sexual activity means they spend a fortune on sex workers.  Sadly the thing that precipitates a visit to me is often their partner has discovered their activities and their relationship is in meltdown too.

It doesn’t have to be this way.  It is possible to understand and get control of your sexual behaviour, and free yourself from the hell of sex and porn addiction.  All it needs is a little courage now to contact a therapist you can trust.
